Feyenoord still fears loss of Givairo Read, as Bayern München chooses not to sign Sergiño Dest, increasing the chances of Read joining the club. Bayern München had indeed interest in Dest, but the German top club has ultimately decided not to sign him. This is good news for PSV, which also had interest in Dest. PSV had however already a special clause in the contract of Dest, making it difficult for the club to keep him. Dest has a special clause in his contract, allowing him to leave for a bid of 23 to 25 million euros. If a club is willing to pay that amount, PSV can do little else but wait for the transfer of Dest to be completed. For Feyenoord, this means that the chances of Read joining the club are increasing. Read is a key player for Feyenoord and his departure would be a significant loss for the club. However, it is not yet clear if Feyenoord is able to keep Read. The club will have to try to convince him to stay at Feyenoord.
