According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AS Roma is on the verge of signing the Brazilian winger. Feyenoord is following the situation, as the club can expect a payment of 1.5 million euros from the transfer. Paixão has been with Olympique Marseille for one season, and the French club paid 30 million euros (excluding bonuses) to Feyenoord to sign him. In his debut season, the 25-year-old winger scored 12 goals and provided six assists in 42 games. Recently, it was announced that Paixão can leave the French club this summer. Olympique Marseille is struggling with financial problems and wants to solve them by selling several players. Paixão is one of them. AS Roma also wants to sign Paixão.
