Feyenoord defender Aleks Zekovic is already in Belgrade to finalize his transfer to Partizan. According to the Serbian newspaper Telegraf, the 19-year-old Zekovic is out of contract at Feyenoord. The Rotterdam club still has a club option for an extra season, but will not exercise it. Partizan will medically clear Zekovic and then he can sign for multiple years. The club management sees enough potential in the talent and wants to give him the opportunity to develop further within the first team. Zekovic leaves after two seasons at Feyenoord. Dennis te Kloese picked him up in the summer of 2024 on a free transfer from Angers SCO. The French-born youth international from Montenegro has never come close to a official debut at Feyenoord. However, Zekovic was part of the highest youth team of the people's club. He also played for the Under 19 in the Youth League. Partizan finished last season in third place in Serbia. The new club of Zekovic hopes to qualify for the Conference League this summer.
